Benjamin's group are made up of 7 musicians influenced by electronic 70s theme tunes, cosmic jazz funk and krautrock. Their first album, The Tangible Effect of Love (to be released on Freaksville/Shellshock in November) is a captivating, erotic pocket symphony.
Belgian Benjamin Schoos is the founding member of Rockhausen but also head of the Freaksville label. Considered as a young Gainsbourg prodigy, in April he released China Man vs China Girl which was highly acclaimed by the press (NME, Q, Uncut) and includes the single Je ne vois que vous feat Laetitia Sadier (Stereolab) which was heavily featured on Xfm and BBC Radio 2 playlists and made its way onto the 6 Music A list.
